About Us

The Harvard Square Churches Meal Program began in June of 1982 as a project of ten churches in Harvard Square. Since then, we’ve provided those in need in the Cambridge community with a full-course, homecooked meal every Thursday evening.

Join us for dinner this Thursday at 5:00p.m. in the fellowship hall of Christ Church Cambridge.

Volunteer at HSCMP

The Harvard Square Churches Meal Program relies on volunteers to sustain its mission. Volunteers help us to cook, serve the meal, and clean up afterwards.

Every year, we are joined by individuals and groups from local churches, area colleges, as well as elementary and high schools, and the surrounding neighborhood. We’d love to have you volunteer with us too!

Fill out this form and we’ll be in touch soon to schedule your first volunteer experience.
